Nickelback: 5 nominations at the 2009 Juno Awards!

The band from Alberta gets 5 nominations and will also perform at the event that will take place in Vancouver on Sunday, March 29.

Here’s the categories in which they are nominees…

Juno Fan Choice Award: Nickelback, Celine Dion, Feist, Hedley and The Lost Fingers

Single of the year: Nickleback, Michael Bublé, Kardinal Offishall, Divine Brown and Celine Dion

Album of the year: Nickelback, Simple Plan, Sylvain Cossette, Hedley and The Lost Fingers

Group of the year: Nickelback, Great Big Sea, Simple Plan, The Trews and Tokyo Police Club

Jack Richardson producer of the year: Nickelback and Joey Moi, David Foster, Daniel Lanois, K.D. Lang and Stuart Brawley

Nickelback’s All The Right Reasons (2005, 6X platinum) is one of the most successful albums of the century, and stoked great expectations for the quartet's sixth album, Dark Horse (2008, currently 3X platinum), which debuted at #1 on the Canadian SoundScan Top 200 Sales Chart.
