A message from Clown:
Slipknot percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan has released the following message regarding the band's upcoming tour of Australia:
"Get ready, maggots! It's been 10 years and in that 10 years of sacrifice we're finally able to bring what is Slipknot to Australia — the real set, the real deal. Hydraulic drums and percussion rigs, massive set, explosions, lights and more. We're on fire and out for blood."
This will mark the first time in Slipknot's history that the band is bringing its full rig to Australia. That means the group is traveling with over 11 tons of equipment, including Joey Jordison's hydraulic riser that raises him 15 feet in the air and flips him onto his back, Clown and Chris Fehn's hydraulic risers, and, of course, lots and lots of pyro everywhere they can get away with it.
